Briany stands at the doorway, holding the door open for the recruit. "You must be Gigi, you're right on time. Come on in" She gestures Gigi to the chair in front of the desk

Gigi smiles as she enters the room "Hello, Captain Anders, it's great to meet you" Gigi stands in front of her chair while Briany moves behind the desk "Thank you for having me today"

Briany Anders

Briany gestures "Please, have a seat". She sits and opens a datapad with Gigi's information and looks it over for a moment then looks toward Gigi "Says here you finished academy with all of your hours and not a single missed route, impressive"

Gigi Thompson

Gigi smiles confidently. "Yes ma'am, I tend to take challenges as opportunity and that opportunity motivates me to complete whatever task I am on"

Briany Anders

"Very well, now answer me this: How many jobs have you completed outside of the academy's client list?"

Gigi Thompson

Gigi's face pauses and her smile subsides. "Only one, ma'am."

Briany Anders

"...and how did that one fare?"

Gigi Thompson

Gigi stops momentarily but nods out of it with a confident face "Not great. I was not as familiar with the private Intrepid I was flying and overshot the landing pad on my first attempt, requiring repairs on the landing fixture as well as some minor damage to the packaged goods. I was fortunate that the job paid enough to cover the damage and replace the goods."

Briany Anders

Briany jots down a note in the datapad. "Very well, thank you for answering. As you know, we are looking for a co-captain to operate the Silverplume on a 3-month transport schedule. I know you are most familiar with Crusader ships but I do see you have hours logged in an Aurora Mk2. Do you feel comfortable in another, larger RSI ship?"

Gigi Thompson

Gigi nods. "Yes ma'am. The Aurora was the ship I learned on after high school. I became quite comfortable with it, and ever since I saw the listing for the Silverplume, I've been reading the flight schematics and procedures for Hermes class transports. I found the way it handles landing protocol interesting, and would be excited to execute it if chosen for the role."

Briany Anders

Briany jots down another note. "Great. Ok, Gigi. I think this concludes our time for now, I really appreciate you coming in and we will be in touch soon after next steps are decided." She stands as makes a friendly gesture to the door

"Thank you, Captain. I look forward to hearing from you" Gigi smiles and exists the room.
