Aeloriaey and Bannor

Aeloriaey and Bannor

Aeloriaey has been drawn to the surface by reports of Void-touched wildlife spilling out of the wider Midnight conflict. She’s tracking a corrupted wolf pack near the quieter northern edge of Elwynn Forest when she crosses paths with Bram, who’s on the same trail after the pack started preying on travelers and livestock. Neither expects the other. He has his rifle half-raised before she even finishes stepping out of the brush.

  1. Aeloriaey Vaelshira

stepping from the brush, voice low and measured: “Lower it. I’m not what you’re hunting.”

  2. Bannor "Bram" Bluebeard

rifle steady, not yet lowered: “Could’ve fooled me. Eyes like that don’t usually show up in Elwynn without a reason and the reason’s usually bad.”

  3. Aeloriaey Vaelshira

“The wolves are worse. Void-touched. They’re moving toward the road. I’m tracking them to stop them before they reach it.”

  4. Bannor "Bram" Bluebeard

“And you just happen to know that how, exactly? Because from where I’m standing, you look a lot like the same rot I’ve been following for two days.”

  5. Aeloriaey Vaelshira

doesn’t move, hands open but rea dy: “Because I can feel it. And because I’ve spent years learning how to find it without becoming it. If I wanted the travelers dead, I wouldn’t have announced myself.”

  6. Bannor "Bram" Bluebeard

studies her a long moment, then eases the rifle down an inch: “Funny way of announcing. Most things that talk like that are usually the ones doing the killing.”

  7. Aeloriaey Vaelshira

“Most things that aim first don’t live long enough to ask questions. I’m not here for the people. I’m here for the pack.”

  8. Bannor "Bram" Bluebeard

exhales, finally resting the rifle against his shoulder: “…Name’s Bram. You slow me down, or try anything clever with that magic, and this ends differently. Lead on.”

Void Hunters Meet in Elwynn

Aeloriaey emerged from the brush in Elwynn Forest and encountered Bram with his rifle raised, suspecting her of being connected to the corrupted wolf pack he'd been tracking. She explained she was hunting the same Void-touched wolves to prevent them from reaching the road, claiming she could sense the corruption. Bram remained skeptical of her nature and origins until she reasoned that she wouldn't announce herself if she meant harm to travelers. After a tense standoff, Bram lowered his rifle, introduced himself, and warned her against slowing him down or using magic against him. He agreed to let her lead.
